    when hooking up the E-47 pump does it have to go directly to the battery to be grounded or will the frame be enough?

    It would probably work fine that way, as long as the battery to frame ground was good and the wire size of that ground was large enough to carry the current load. Just to be safe though I would run the ground straight to the battery. Anything you can do to make the plows electrical as simple and bullet proof as possible is to your advantage and will give you fewer problems.

    go right to the battery
    that way you have less chance of a problem

    go right to the battery. the stock ground straps arnt very big, you might overload the ground strap.
