    Found this while searching their site under plowing tips:

    Wet Snow

    The best advice is this: Once you start, finish the job. Wet snow left in windrows overnight can freeze and turn into tank traps by morning.

    So very true though. I never heard the term tank tarps before.

    Huh, Tank traps is a term given to a ditch and berm built on a trail entrance to keep pesky 4x4 tresspassin folk off land in Northern Minnesota. Never new a windrow could stop a tank. Thankfully there's no snow in Iraq. Somethin to think about in Afghanistan's mountains though.
