I'm getting ready to buy a 1 ton dual wheel dodge for plowing. It already has new road tires on it, that will stay in place til winter gets here. Then I should probably need a good snow tire. What are some good yet cheap tires to use only in the winter? And would studs be a good idea?

I think you will find with some weight in the back you won't need a specific snow tire on the dually.

I have a 1ton Chevy Dually dump and run wrangler at's. my drive tires are getting pretty low on tread and I never had one problem last year with traction.
