First, how much are you looking to spend? I would do something up top either a beacon or two or a mini light bar and then some light heads in the back, possibly in the grill too.

Well if you do beacons/mini bars on the top you would have good 360 coverage and not have to do anything else. As far as colors I know that you can run amber, you use to be able to run blue but they changed the laws up there and now you are able to only use blue depending on your contracts, not exactly sure maybe some guys from up there can chime in on this.

Whelen's L31 beacons are really nice, I have one, great light.

or you could do a mini bar one in the center or two one on each end

    http://whelen.com/_AUTOMOTIVE/details_prod.php?head_id=7&cat_id=59&prod_id=385

If you still want more in the rear I would use a round light head to match the rest or the STT lights, look cleaner, and less possibility of being broken off something like this

    http://whelen.com/_AUTOMOTIVE/details_prod.php?head_id=12&cat_id=74&prod_id=107

And if you wanted to do something in the front still most likely the grill

    http://whelen.com/_AUTOMOTIVE/details_prod.php?head_id=12&cat_id=74&prod_id=140

Now these are all whelen products, good company and products but you don't have to get them there's other companies out there but this gives you some ideas.

I like EGLC's suggestion of the lights on the dump.

For the back I would create two more holes for 4" round lights, move backup lights in and put some LED rounds where backups were, like this.

Hubjeep I like your idea also!
Looks like I will be spending more then I thought but I do want visibility and safety...do I need special switches?

If you use all LED lights, a low power switch box will do.or you can cut switches into the dash like this RIDOT truck I did:

For the record, I don't like the lights they picked out, but that is what they wanted.

Anyways, What sort of plowing do you do? Roadwork or mostly driveways?

Your Safe with Ambers if you forget them on, but if you turn the lights off before you drive on a road, you can use what you want such as blue. Just no blue going down the road.

you may have a tough time drilling that body..buy a few saws.

Shouldn't be too bad, use a nice slow drill with a T-handle and bi-metal hole saw, have someone stand there spraying oil on it while you drill. IIRC the hole has to be 4 and 1/4 or 3/8 of an inch to fit 4" grommet lights?
