How do those one ton bags work? Do you leave them on site with a machine that has forks? Do they drop right in the spreaders? Looks like you got some serious coin tied up in bobcats!

sweet fleet, not sure if i'd want all that money touching salt if not necessary though lol

why do you chose the bags over loading directly into hoppers?

The place we rent the lot from doesnt like mounds of salt all over the lot so we just use those one ton bags, they are easy to use they keep the salt from rocking up, and buying it like this is so much cheaper than 50lb bags even after my labor of loading the 1t bags. it just works out well all around and they last 2 seasons sometimes a little longer.

Do you worry about just leaving your stuff out there like that without any sort of fence or gate around it?

I couldn't imagine trying to run a company of what looks to be decent size with no office, shop, storage, meeting area, security. I could just never do that. Half a million dollars of bobcats and no shop.

The building you see in the background has our office in it, but the rest of the building is owned by a company called AAI they build military drones so we hae cameras (theirs) and they also have perimeter and roaming security so our ass is covered, otherwise we would definitely have a fence put up.

Do you use the ones with the drawstring opening on the bottom? It looks like a great idea to keep everything clean but do they tend to release too fast dumping material all over?
