i am new to plowing. Ive plowed for the last couple years. i was wondering if you guys have any opinion on when the plow is installed on the truck can i leave it in the up position with the plow off the ground for an extended period or should i leave the plow on the ground?

I always lower my plow whenever I can. Its just easier on the suspension of the truck. There are times when I go to town to a store or what ever I will leave it up so its easier for people to see. I don't want someone backing into it because it was lowered and they couldnt see it. So if your gonna park it over night I say lower it, if its only 30 minutes an hour you would be ok leaving it up.
