i just bought a western unimount 7.5ft pro plow (99 model) and the guy took it off his 96 dodge 2500 but obviously that mount wont work.so i plan on putting it on a 2000 chevy 2500. any ideas on where to get a mount for it?? the guy mentioned that the wiring harness n all of that might not work either for the chevy. is that true or anyone know?? i also have an extra western wiring harness that was for a unimount to my ford would that work? THANKS!
Good luck, those mounts are aboslite. The only way to really get one is search everywhere and if you are lucky you might get one, or buy a ultramount to uni-mount conversion....only problem very expensive.
if your good with a welder and have a lot of extra time you could fabricate the old dodge mount to fit your chevy but ya otherwise try finding a dealer in your area that has used mounts and trade the dodge mount in on one for your chevy
