A quick question...for some reason I'm having a mental block, (actually there are probably a lot of reasons)

What gear oil do you guys use in Fisher sanders? I have a SS hopper and am doing some pm and want to top off the gear oil in the gear case. I can't remember and my owners manual has no listing for it. Thanks in advance.

OK, I found in the manual where it says to use SAE 90W gear oil. But I know I have never used that, since I could never find it. Therefore, what blend is best to use, 80w-90w, 85 w-90w? I would sincerely appreciate your response.

SAE 90W is very common, any lawn mower shop or auto supply should have it!
I’m from westchester, NY right next door to CT. So it should be very easy to find!
