I have a older Henderson sander and the gear case housing has a pin hole in the bottom of it so all the oil leaks out. I priced out a new housing and it is about $500.00. I plan on buying a new sander next year. I was thinking of just pumping it full of a packing grease or molly lube. Does anybody think that this would work to get me through this season. All suggestions would be helpful. :dizzy:

can you patch on that with jb welder

or weld to cover that hole?

grease in gear is ok but not great for long time. For me I would find more thicker oil it will slow down but not spin easy when it cold.
