Gauge Pod?

    have 2005 chevy speedometer stepper motor went bad tried to fixed but burned hole in circuit board so now it wont work. if i get used pod do need to get it reprogrammed and how much is it? new one i can get for $250 is that better way to go? thanks

    if i remember right a tech2 is needed to flash to be correct. i.e. correct # of miles, etc. Can't remember but it should work just swapping it in -the mileage would be off though. Maybe someone else knows for certain.

    a rebuilt unit may be cheaper, but not by too much.
