I have a 77 K10 that all of the sudden this morning I fill up with gas and it comes out on my shoes:realmad: . On the rest of my drive to work it's at 5/8 and I couldn't get any more in. What goes with these things. It was OK last week when I filled up. It there a easy fix? I have a few parts trucks here, guess I could swap gages. I'm not into swapping sending units but
    Thanks...................... Rick

I'd try unplugging, and then grounding the sending unit wire.If the gauge goes from empty to full then you know the gauge and wiring is good and it must be the sending unit.
