fusable link from starter to wire harness

    Does anyone out there have any ideas on the fusable links that connects the starter to the wire harness. Where can you get these fusable links? For 85 chevy truck

    Most part stores have fusible link ,just splice a new piece in with butt connectors, dielectric grease,and shrink wrap.

    Be sure to use the same size link that you are replacing,a larger size will allow to much current to flow before it melts,this could start a fire or cause serious wiring harness damage in the event of a short.
