Is it an aux tank or a transfer tank?

neither it is the front fuel tank for a truck with 2 tanks. i belive only the short beds have the 16 gallon tank because of the location of the crossmembers.

Just an fyi, the 16 gallon fits some longbeds as well. The crossmember is different, but the two tanks were both offered in longbeds (I have one 16 and one 19, both on 95 f350's)
