strobes, overhead bar, air compressor, takedown lights in the overhead bar, snow plow lights, and train horns. 5 40 amp relays, 5 25 amp circuit breakers, and one 60 amp breaker and relay for the compressor. i don't have to worry about removing stuff, i keep my rigs forever. only sold 5 trucks int he past 35 years. they went to the drivers they were assigned to when i closed up shop, but i still have 7 trucks and 4 cars here.

    nope. verizon fios.
yup. heavy equipment escort service. but i don't do very much any more because the money is not there. 25 years ago i was getting $100 per hour per truck. then the bottom fell out when the cutthroats started working for as little as $25 per hour.
as it is the price is only back up to around $55 -$65 per hour.
and that is not worth it because after all expenses are paid, it ends up costing me money if i have to pay drivers.

drive a triaxle dump, or the low boy to move machinery for a local paving company when he needs me. 2-3 days a week usually.
just enough to keep me well stocked with plenty of "toys".
i busted my butt for 30 years, and paid everything off as quick as i could. that left me strapped for cash, but it paid off in the end. 5 years ago when the company i was with for 15 years went belly up i had just finished paying off the house and was debt free, so i decided to become semi retired.

i still do an escort now and then, and plow in the winter. i am slowly upgrading all the trucks from rotator bars to strobes and led bars.
