I just bought a L-8000 that use to be a Muni. truck with a road plow, belly plow and UTG. sander on a 5-7 yd box. In going through it to get ready for the season, I found that the vibrator is frozen. It appears to be a Ford starter motor with a straight shaft with a 3 slot "knuckle" that fit it's mate on the counter weigth.

Does anyone know where I can either get the motor rebuilt or buy just the motor?

Any decent electric shop should be able to do it.

Elroy's electric service in IGH rebuilds my starters and alternators....they'll do just about anything. It's a small place run out of his house.
