Front wheel making noise

    I'm a newbie at truck repair, but I want to start trying to fix things myself rather than run to the garage. I have a 83 Mitsubishi that is making some noise in the drivers side front wheel. I am going to take the wheel off tomorrow to see if there is something obvious I could fix. It is not the bake pads, they are fairly new. It makes the noise in 2x4 or 4x4. Noise happens all the time, not just in turns. Just sounds like something rubbing. I have had the front wheels right into a few snowbanks while stacking snow. I was thinking I bent something. I appreciate any thoughts on what to look for
