Last season when I was plowing I noticed that the front end would make a squeak/chirp when I was pushing snow in 4WD. In 2WD or 4WD with no load (pushing snow) it doesn't make the noise. I think its the drive shaft u joint, I'm thinking about just replacing them front and rear but I don't want to buy junk. My truck is a 2000 NBS GMC Sierra 2500 LD with 165,000 miles. Any suggestions on manufacturer, spicer? Also anyone have part numbers or sizes handy?

obrut, seems like you've got under control, your right about getting good ones, cheap lifetime warranty u-joints just means your labor time increases every time you re-install the free replacements.
