Back in the summer I replaced the thermal actuator on my 97 2500 with the electric version. As we're expecting snow tonight and this weekend I've been thinking... with the thermal actuator when you shut off the truck the axle disengages, correct? With the electric actuator, does the axle stayed engaged when the truck is turned off?

I know it's not an end of the world question but I am curious. If nobody responds I guess I'll figure it out in the morning. ;)

Yup, stays engaged, weather the truck is on or off, until you put it back into 2wd.
