I am trying to sell my flatbed. It is a 1996 Freightliner FL70 with a 16 foot steel flat bed. Has a Caterpillar 3126 motor with a six speed manual trans. Aluminum wheels, good rubber, side tool box, air brakes, pintle hitch, and glad hands piped to rear for air trailer. Truck is in great shape and has just under 45,000 miles. I use it to pull around my tractor in the summer. It pretty much goes to a job site and sits for a week or two then goes to another one. I would like to get $12,000 for it. You can get a hold of me at ryan@sullivanseptic.com. Or just PM me here and I will be glad to send more pics and answer any questions.

No it does not dump. It is basically a stake bed. The steel bed has stake pockets all the way around.

Yes, but I dont have them right now. The truck and pics are at my office and I am not able to get to them until Monday. Sorry. I will get them posted. Along with some pics of tire tread, wheels, motor. Sorry, I just threw what I had up here in a hurry.

I also have it set up for an auxillary 150 gal aluminum fuel tank. You can see in the pics that the brackets are hanging on the drivers side. I was going to use it for a diesel transfer tank and mount the pump and nozzle in the tool box. The 150 gal tank comes with it. I will get pics of that as well. Its sitting in my shop ready to mount.

GVW is 33,000. I am actually not sure on the dry weight. The truck is light. I pull a tandem axle trailer with a good amount of toungue weight and an 18,000 lb CAT on it and I am still under weight

I'll bump it up for a nice truck and reasonable price!! nice to see someone who doesnt think they are sitting on a gold mine like everyone else lol always makes me laugh these people that basically want some outrageous amount for what they are selling and then wonder why it doesnt sell. GOOD LUCK!

That's a very nice truck you have there!

What type of work/$ might it need today(if any) to make it 100%? Are you the original owner?

Would you be willing to trade your truck for any particular equipment, skid steers or 1 ton 4x4 pick ups?

Let me know when you have a chance.

    Thanks,

    Joe

Truck runs awsome. Nothing wrong with it as I was using it all the time to pull around my CAT 420. The one thing that it needs is a new grille. The original Frieghtliner one has pieces broken out. This is a defect from frieghtliner. It is just cosmetic and can be fixed easily but I never cared. I would have it replaced before i sold it to anyone. PM me if your interested.
