..yes free but you have to a bit creative minded...find a large old v-tread farm tractor tire..NON RADIAL TYPE..need to the bias ply only..cutt tire at diagonal right at ebges of them bar tread from bead to bead,,needs to like 12-13 in wide pieces (trim of exess laterafter bolting onto wings) line up that big bar-cleat tread at the bottom side (ground side-works like a wear bar) the sidewall part of this rubber will be curve and facing forward like a big scoop..(wings with scoop pads) trim of excess with saw after fitting bolts onto wing..a 7 1/2 blade comes out to 9 3/4 feet wide,,Better than them disposible no ply oem/aftermarket pads..and you dont even want to know what to cut these tractor pad with..hmmmmm.. Anyhow there you have a 8 ply wing rubber pad for free $$....may smell a bit crappy when cutting these farm tires..lmao

Neat idea, but isnt that going to be stiffer than the factory edges(or creating more force because of the extra scoop)?....resulting in bending the wings up?

You said "prowings" Not "homemade" in your original post.

And yes, we have a set or 2 of "prowings", they work great.
