I have a 97 ford f250 psd and every time I try to engage it into 4x4 it makes a horrible clunking sound. When its in 2wd its fine. It just started doing it this morning. Anyone have any idea what it could be?

check your u-joints, and check the fluid level and condition in your t-case.

There is a seal in the front hub that if worn out will make thumping sounds
