    Hey guys....
One of our Fords just finished 12 straight hrs plowing and sanding. After about 10 hrs, seems the tranny was shifting sluggishly in reverse, and also shifting little slow in forward gears. Is this signs of tranny failure, of just adjustments to the linkage? Thanks for any input:)

Its time for a trans. Early signs that its going. I'd wouldn't drive it to much longer.

Definately on its way out. Try a cheap solution first, it may or may not work. Take to a shop, have them dump all the fluid including the converter, and change the filter, add some new fluid with some friction modifier (available at ford). Then see what happens, it sounds like you could be to late.... Just a dumb after thought, make sure the truck has a trans cooler......
