Ford Ranger Blizzard LT680, where to run wiring? Cant seem to find a hole in the firewall to run the wiring into the cab.

If I remember right there is a rubber grommet covering a hole above the steering column. I poked a hole in it to pass wires for fog lights. On my nephews 2000 Ranger. I have passed wires next to steering columns too.
