Today was the first day of running around town with my new plow on.

I left the hand controller on while driving home from work about 30 min.
When I pulled into the drive and went to drop the plow and the controller was flashing red and wouldn't do anything till I turned it off and back on.
Is this normal? I am hoping it's a sleep mode or something.

    Thanks

Nothing to worry about Nate. It simply went into sleep mode due to the extended non use.

That's a relief. Especially since I just replaced the 13 pin.
I really haven't got to plow with it yet it is driving me crazy.
Everyone one around us is getting snow.
We got about 1 1/2 inches and I put it on in case I had a residential call.
I am sure it is going to be a great plow.

    Thanks for the response!

Just an FYI the controller goes to sleep after 20 minutes of non use.

    Thanks for the info.

Old skool - my girlfriend is from Maryland and her family was giving her the play by play on their 2ft that was dropped.
It was all I could do to keep from driving to Maryland to get in on it.

JT - you need wings with a V?
How wide does it make it with wings?

I just had a new 9'2" VXT installed last night and I ran into the same thing. I left the truck idling with the blade raised in V while we hooked up another plow on another truck ... we got a little side tracked so my truck sat there for about 20 mins I guess then when I went to pull the truck in to drop the Boss it would not move and the controller was flashing red. I thought oh oh but then turned it off and back on and everything worked fine again. I was gonna give the dealer a call to ask if this was normal but now I see it is. Good news. Haven't had time to read the manual yet ... better get to it eh:) First Boss ... hope it was a good decision. Sure looks sweet hangin' on the Dodge.
