Fisher V Plow Edge?

    Hi,I have a new Fisher EZ-V,8.6 plow.my dealer said I should run the plow with the factory edge(no edge)until it wears,then put on a replacement edge.At what point do I know its time to do this?Can I measure from the bottom of the edge mounting holes on the bottom,how far?Do you know of a source for carbide edges?Thanks as always,BASIC.

    you want to put an edge on it before it gets to the horizontal gussets of the trip edge don't know about the carbides. Im leaning torwards the U edge at least on one
