Someone nearby is selling a Fisher 6'6" Fisher Speedcast plow. It was original on an 1988 S10 pickup. My questions are:

Will it directly fit a 1991 GMC Sonoma without any extra items to buy? It is virtually the same truck, only from GMC, not Chevy.

What should I watch out for on this perticular model?

Can anyone recommend another plow that will fit a 91 sonama that is fairly cheap (no more than $1200).

    Thanks in advance.

That should fit your truck, i dont think there were any changes between 88 and 91. For that price if its all there and not beat to crap it should work just fine for you, just make sure to do the usual service things before you put it to work.

Check with your Fisher dealer or go on their website to check fitment. You'd be surprised what will make those pushplates not fit. I have a 1988 Dodge with a Speedcast on it and have been through the process of buying another pickup to fit my existing plow on. I was lucky enough to find one in great shape.
