Fisher safety cable REPLACEMENT

    Any one ever have to replace the safety cable that runs from the arm to the A Frame it hooks onto a cable at the A frame I'm Looking for one any ideas Thanks.

    refering to the cable with a spring on the end, that is just there to pull the lift cylinder all the way down, when you are in float. for easier removal of the plow?

    Just replaced mine- 13 bucks and about 20 minutes work. Pretty straightforward.

    does anybody know why we need that cable with the spring?

    We don't really need it if you don't mind pushing the lift cylinder down by hand to remove plow.
