I have a Fisher MM2. Its a 3 wire setup. I think its the HD. The motor sits on top of the pump. My motor is bad. Its smoking and wont work. I took the 2 long bolts out of the top of the motor but the motor wont break free from the pump. Is there something else I need to do? Do I jus give it a good hit?

When putting the new one on, I would recommend putting dielectric grease all along the manifold mating surface, a long with some in the bolt holes
