I am posting this for a buddy of mine:

He has a 2001 Chevy 3500. He recently installed the on-truck parts himself. He has a 3 port, green label isolation module. When he connects to the plow and moves the controller he just gets a click at the pump on the plow.

When I connect my truck to his plow, everything works fine.

I am no expert but I have installed the on-truck parts on 3 of my vehicles so I have a base familiarity with the installation process. His install looks good to me for what it is worth.

What would make the plow pump just click and not move?

Thanks in advance for any assistance,

    John

check the solenoid like ford said but also check the plugs truck side and make sure they are clean of corrosion and greased as he may not be getting a good connection.Welcome to plowsite John!
