Fisher plow belts ??

    I have an older Fisher speed cast plow..
    I need to locate a new pump belt... Does anyone
    know where I can purchase one also are there any ways to improve its
    operating ability???..... I replaced the pump two years ago, I only plow
    private accounts it still appears to work slow... am I stuck with it..
    any advice would be helpful.... Thanks Scruno

    Just a normal v-belt. Give me the exact model of your truck and engine and I can tell you what belt to get.

    Make sure the belt is tight. You can got to a smaller pulley to speed it up a bit. Also make sure you are running a filter in the return line. Finally the fluid may be getting to hot. You may need to run a cooler or move the hoses to cool the system. I run my return line through the grill in front of the radiator. This helps cool the fluid.

    Pumps never run fast at idle.
