Can a Fisher Conventional plow be converted to a Minute Mount or Minute Mount 2 if the headgear and A-frame are swapped?

In other words, is the plow blade on an RD conventional mount interchangeable with the plow blade on a Minute Mount?

Not directly. The spread on the ears will be the same but the cross bar will be in the way of the drop down leg on the MM. Moving the bar is not that big of a welding feat but it will have to be done in order to make it work.

He is right on. Most of the A-frame won't match because of the crossbrace, although some will. The spread should be the same but measure to make sure. There are still a lot of conventional blades out there in great shape and I have swapped them before. You just have to find them.
