I just bought a Fisher HT plow and was wondering if I should immediately purchase and install the wearing blade accessory or wait until the actual metal on the plow wears first?

id buy it i think its weird to run a plow without one. it will add alittle weight to make the plow scrape better too.

I don't know about the new HT Series but on every other Fisher I have dealt with we run it for an entire season before adding a cutting edge. It will scrape BETTER w/o a wear edge on a new plow. Once you wear off some of the base angle, put on a cutting edge.

This is what I would do.
