First major salt usage

    Well we didn't get any snow to plow here because it was 60 degrees here yesterday and poured all day, last night during the night the temperature dropped to 32 and then below freezing and the rain truned to slush which mixed with the water on the ground and then froze because the winds really picked up with a wind chill and left an icy slush covering frozen solid about 1/2 inch thick on parking lots.

    Used 28 tons of straight salt this morning and 60 tons of salt sand mix on our commercial contracts. What a morning.... :bluebounc
