Got my wings finished today. Couldn't see spending the money on the factory western wings when i could make them.

They are bolted on. But i keep a 18mm rachet wrench in the tool box. Thay actually pop of pretty easy. But no i don't really need them to come off at all.

They look great but I would'nt leave them bolted on I would drill holes in the bolts and put shear pins in so if you hit something hard they will break and not damage the plow blade.

I thought about that. I looked at the Meyers wings and the bolted theirs.

What would you charge to make a set for a pro plow. I have factory western wings and they are junk and I will not buy another set.

I work at a steel fab shop. So it cost me nothing. As far as building more??? Its kinda hard for me to build stuff for other people at work. That's kinda a no no. They give me free steel as long as I don't resell it. And before you ask. I won't make you a free set. I may consider building some at home.

Your wings look great. If you wanted to increase your plow size then they should work well. If you were looking to speed up windroeing or containing snow then I think they should be more forward.
