I guessing if I buy one new there won't be a problem setting up the truck, but I'm also thinking of going the used route...how hard will it be to find a used plow for a 1993 F-Superduty? Will I have to piece it together from different sellers?

I don't think you'll find a used subframe for a Superduty, but you might be able to buy one from a manufacturer. also, The 350 chassis cab subframe may just fit the Superduty, but the axle is the difference up front I believe.

Should be the same as a plow set up for a Ford 250 or 350 4x4. I just put a Diamond (same as fisher for that year) from a 4x4 350 on my 1997 F-Superduty with no modification. Check out Fishers e-match and you will see the 4x4 and 2wd F-Superduty have the same truck mount side.

    I have a used mount that came off a 95' F-450 4x4. I am interested in selling.

92-96 (97 on F250 and heavier) plow mounts are all the same.

    F150, F250, F350, and F-Superduty.

F150 and bronco are different. otherwise your statement is accurate. the interchange is:

    1992-1997 F250 or F350 (excluding 1997 F250 light duty)

bronco/150 have lighter frames. also bronco/150 have coil springs up front instead of the leaf springs found on the 250/350, which changes the design of the front frame horns.
