Before I get some comet about GM's. I didn't mean anything bad at all. Ford has a nicer two tone package that looks better than GM's by far and I like the fact on a diesel you can put a much bigger blade. If I got as a good of a deal, I would have been driving one.

Mike I did put on a leveling kit for the front end.http://www.truxxx.com
The leveling kit help alot, oh you still can tell that there is 950lbs on the front end. But with the leveling kit the plow doesn't cripple the truck as much. Packages? Lariat package?

    Thanks.

    Karson / Riley,

I don;t see a model for 2005 Sd's and was it as simple to install as they say. Did you order your truck with the snow plow prep package ??

    Thanks

I had the shop that put my plow on do it. The website is not updated they do have 2005 kit for F-250. No I do not have the snow plow prep package. I wish I had that .When I bought my truck it was between two F-250s but the one with snow plow prep didn't have all the options I wanted.

    Thanks
    Steve

Sorry I didn't answer all of your questions. No they are not stock tires I took the stock tires off after 700 miles, I was getting stuck on some of the projects I have going on, and getting major crap about it and was sick of throwing mud all over the new roads. So I put on Goodyear Wrangler MT/R 305/70/17 what a great tire. I do not have anything holding up the plow other than the leveling kit.It worked great.

    Thanks
    Steve

The truck looks nice...should be a tank in the snow as well.Good luck with it.I also just put new tires on my Ford F250 I went with the Dunlop 285/75/R16 it was rated as one of the best snow tires available.
