Brand new and trying to match a plow to my F250 in Richmond, VA. Only trouble is, my front GAWR sticker on the B pillar states it's only 4400 lb rating. All quick matches on various manufacturer sites seem to begin at a higher weight rating. Seems hard to believe that a plow is made for jeeps, SUVs, Tacomas, etc., but can't find an application for an F-250 Super Duty with my front GAWR of 4400. Meyer told me that they could make it work with heavier front springs, however, if I were to have an accident it would be a legal disaster if other person's lawyer found out my factory sticker were less than 5200 GAWR. Is there any "legal" way to get a plow for this truck or should I get a different truck? THANKS for any available help which is on the "up & up".

Plenty of trucks like yours running around with a plow.
I would get heavier springs and then a plow

Plowmeister & Hydro~ Thanks for the advice, much appreciated. I've got a local rep for Meyer trying to get info from the manufacturer to see if there is a DrivePro application. Seems like there would be since the DrivePro are designed for vehicles with much lower weight ratings that my F-250 should be able to handle it. Just don't want to run the risk of my insurance carrier dropping me if there were an incident - regardless of which parties fault. If they find an app, great, if not I'll wait till it's time to replace this truck and find something else to put food on the table while it's too cold to powerwash. Thanks Again!! Mark
