I have 05 and 06 3500 reg cabs with flat beds. There is a factory mounted switch on the dash for the beacon but upon investigation through the back of the cab light on the 06, I found a four wired female connector. Is this the connector? I turned the switch on and I found no power to the connector. I vaguely remember reading something about having to drill a hole in the roof to get to the wires but I don't want to go doing that for nothing. Where oh where are those wires?
