Fabricated a Strobe light for my Jeep

    I got a Police motorcycle stainless strobe light pole and converted to amber. I used 3 stainless hose clamps on the sparetire mount, ran a simple wire through the jeep cab with a cigarette light plug. Done deal. Thumbs Up

    there a few around here like that. that light when new went for like 400 bucks. you can put any whelen beacon on that pole

    VERY nice. MUCH better than drilling into the hard top and IMO the back is the best place for a light (backing out of driveways).

    Yes, No way did I want to drill through the top This seems to work good, we will see how it holds up.

    I tried that way first, but didn't think it was visible enough from the front and went this route:

    Used a roof rack pole and worked great. Just another idea.
