Contemplating getting a v-plow...Currently have an 8' straight blade MM2. Will the EZV fit my mounts/electronics. Any insight appreciated.

The mounts should work, but the wiring is completly different.

everything is the exact same EXCEPT the #1 wire on the iso-module.......I have a v plow #1 wire if you need it....$150 then you have to get the v plow controller

you just need an adapter & a different control. There's an adapter part # in the catalog. You should be able to get it from your dealer.

That adapter converts V to straight.

Ford, you just need to change out your control harness to a 7 pin (26346)....and buy a new controller. You can buy the pieces to a fish stick to change your controller over....but it's just as cheap to buy a used V plow controller. Not to mention If you keep your straight blade you can then buy that adapter (21297k) that will allow you to plug in your straight blade controller to the control harness and still be able to run the straight blade.

    Good luck!
