We have a MM 7.5' straight blade from 1997 on a 97 Dodge, and a 2004 EZ-V on a 2001 Chevy. Both plows can be carried by both trucks, although the wiring is different so the plows are not completely interchangeable. I was wondering if the Extreme V can be attached to the same forks and locking systems, and also if the wiring and controller might be interchangeable with the EZ-V.

Extreme V mounts the same but the wiring is completely different,on another note though,You can buy a adapter (part#21792k)approx $30 and run the straight blade on your 01 Chevy, you will still use the sraight blade controll with this.It just screws into the controll recepacle in the cab and allows you to plug the straight controll in.
You can also throw a V plow main harness on the Dodge, around $250 probably and run either plow on either truck.

Thanks, Arc Burn. Well we just sold the Dodge w/ MM. Now only have the 01 Chevy with EZ-V as far as Fisher. Looking to buy another Fisher and another truck. Does Fisher even make and sell EZ-V anymore? If we have to buy an Extreme new, then we would need 2 sets of wiring in each truck to be able to interchange the plows, right?

EZ-V is no longer under regular production but i beleive can be special ordered, some dealers still have units in stock though.
