Extra Salt Available

    Due to us making the slow transition to liquid we have 1,000 tons of bulk salt available to be picked up at our location in Muskegon or we can deliver for a fee as well. Please call or pm for more details on price and delivery. 231-893-8812 and ask for Darin. Thanks

    I dont know what a yard wieghs. But, My dump trailer can fit 3 yds.. if it don't over wieght it.
    how much you think a load would cost me if I come and get it?

    3yds would be around 6,000 pds and we are charging 7.5 cents per pound picked up

    Math is off just a bit. Move your decimal over one(to the left.)

    actually way over priced. we can get salt all day long delivered out of northwest indiana for $130 a ton. this is just a perfect example to do your research.

    I'm still checking prices for bulk. so, I'm not positive of the cost per ton.. But, I do know per ton in Bags is running in the area of 160 to 190 around here from the suppliers, not retailers. so, I would guess he is not too far off the mark on bulk, (for this time of year) a little high, maybe... not really worth it to me to chase way over there to get it.. Between fuel cost and ease of handling bags for me.. I think I will probably pass the bulk..
    I still think I will give him a call and discuss it.
