Exhaust noise?

    My exhaust is always making a crakling sound, like when its hot and cooling off.. always does this, Especially when i park - even after a short drive, WHy? fairly new 2k miles... thanks

    It's the extreme heat, and then cooling at different rates. It's your tin heat shields on your muffler, pipes, and cats.

    Totally normal. If you can isolate where and which shield is doing it, get a long screwdriver or small prybar in between the shield and tweak it a little. This may help.

    its kind of annoying thats all.. i thought it may go away after a few thous miles, ?? ill check heat shields.
