Can you Spray FF on exhaust manifolds or the manifold studs? I just had mine replaced and I was thinking I could spray them to help prevent corrosion.

I had asked this question about spraying down my snow blower motor. There is a flash point and I cannot remember exactly but I going to say it was around 500 degrees. I had been recommended to not spray that motor near the muffler.

According to the Fluid Film website, the flashpoint is 405 degrees F minimum. That's a good flashpoint, but I wouldn't put it on the exhaust manifold as it can get significantly hotter than that.

It will just burn off. That would be a better application for storage.
