exhaust manifold temp

    Any of you out there know how hot the exhaust manifold on a 350 gets? Been looking in some manual for the info but have not found it. <br>

    I am not sure what the surface temperature is on your exhast manifolds but, at the catalitic converter temps will reach 1500 deg f. during normal operation. {I realize you do not have a converter but thought it may help as a point of reference] ...note: see if you can borrow a infared temp sensor [just aim it at the manifold and pull the trigger] it will give you a accurate reading of the surface temp ... hope this helps
