    hmm

looks like it might have been a soild rod angled in the ground, something like rebar.

I will take a stab at it. A rock or one of those parking lot curb things. I hit one of those the other night, and it put a nice gouge in my poly as well

Yeah I hit it hard, but I had about a 1000 lbs in the bed of the truck, So I drug it up the driveway about 15 feet. The rebar was attached to a railroad tie that i had laying beside the driveway. the snow drift was quite large so I didn't see it.

yea, I was going to say that it was from hitting concrete stops also.

Whatever it was you have hit it at least 3 times now.

Look closely to the right you can see two similar scratches that have been painted over.

i feel like dumb a$$.. it didn't do anything, but move the tie and scratch the paint.. i found out i hit the bar after i washed the truck, and couldn't figure out what i hit.. until mike33087 said re bar..

Never feel bad what you hit. 2 years agoi was plowing my wifes apartm. complex she manages. She got the idea to make everyone move there car the next day so i could plow entire lot with cars moved instead of the lanes like i normally do. Okey all cars gone big lot im plowing like hell and running backwards just as fast. I managed to hit the only f---n
steel post in the entire lot with an audience watching me. I managed to damn near tear off the bumper of my 1 year old truck. But i missed the new boss salt spreader. So my point is if you plow long enough you are guaranteed to hit the dombest and most impossible thing out there.

when i first looked i saw the ridges that run the length of the scar.. looking a bit like rebar, then scrolled and saw mike had called it out already.. good eyes:eek:
