Have some questions on estimating how long it will take to plow and how much salt/snad mix to it will take. Looking a bidding some larger parking lot, strip malls, targets things like that. How long does it take to do acre? 14' pusher wheel loader 8' pusher skid steer? I am in kansas rates are or were last season $100/hr truck with 7.5' blade or skid with 6' bucket and $100 per ton on salt sand. How much will a ton cover? What would be a fair price with an 8' pusher on a skid and 12' pusher on 2.5 yard wheel loader? Any help would be appreciated!!
    Thanks

    OK I'll bite...
We all know there's all sorts of variables that effect time and materials, blah, blah,blah...
To atleast get the discussion started, let's start with no more than a ton per acre. Weather conditions, equipment can sway that amount, but you should be safe with that estimate.
