engine swap Tecmseh to?

    Got a worn Tecumseh. Anyone done a swap with a Briggs or Honda.

    What model numbers etc. 10hp

    Tecumseh is mounted on a Meyers/Diamond SS Sander approx 1.8 yds

    I have the same sander it has a 10.5 briggs

    Thank you for your input. Any chance you can post the model number of your Briggs engine? There ate a lot of model numbers for the 10.5 hp engine.

    I've got the same spreader as well with a 10.5hp intek Briggs but not sure the model number. I do know that when mine craps out ill be converting over to electric. Based on what ive seen you can do it for around $400 and is pretty simple.

    Had the old Briggs when I bought it . I put an intek on it a few years back. Was an easy swap. Got it on craigs list for 100, with wiring harness and controls. Was on a salt dog before. Next time I will go electric.
