Engine Driven Hydraulics?

I am looking at an 8' Fisher plow on Ebay (auction #8032176459 if you want to know what I am talking about). It appears as if this has engine driven hydraulics. How do these systems work? How fast are they? Do they have about the same performance as the old Meyer systems in the 70's Dodges, or are they better? What years did they make this plow, and what is the model of it? I have the same truck that this plow came from, so mounting shouldn't be a problem. I am in northern lower Michigan. Does anyone have an idea of a fair price for this plow?

    Thanks

    Steve
