    Is a privately owned snowplow considered an emergency vehicle during county issued snow emergencys?thanks Eric

    Not up here in Ontario, although, it usually depends on the cop.

    Here in Ohio it all depends on the cop really. There was a time where if you had a vehicle that was 4-wheel drive or a plow truck, you could contact the city and get paid to plow city side streets and take people to work (especially if there were nurses or doctors and couldn't get to work) you picked them up and took them there and got a nice check about a week and a half later. Check with your local PD though.
